I CAN DIE HAPPY AGAIN!!!!
The day came by so slow, but ended so quickly. It flew by before my eyes. I wish I could go back. I really wish I could.
Jake and Jamie picked me up at about 9:45. The ride there was kinda long because there was some accident on the freeway, but we got there on time.
Got to hang around with Pete and Miles from Live 105 as well as Tom who gets taller everytime I see the fucker.
I sometimes went away from Jake and Jamie, because they went to see some bands that I didn't really care for, but we had no issues meeting back up.
These all plated from 20 minutes to 45 minute sets.
Hush Sound was actually very good. I didn't know the songs, but they put on a great show. Missed Ok Go. The Sounds and caught some of Hard-Fi. Anti-Flag blew me away. Great show. Wolfmother, dint see much but from what I happened to see sounded good too. Thursday was better than I thought. The crowd was also very responsive. Totally rocked out to She Wants Revenge. Second time seeing them, and I enjoyed it a lot. Panic! At the Disco, din't stay long, but the two songs I stayed for sounded amazing. Could hear Yellowcard across the whole thing, even though I wasn't watching until the very end. Yeah Yeah Yeahs had great stage energy. Caught the interview with Karen O also.
Adam and Justin from She Wants Revenge.
Didn't catch the Local stuff.
Then came that time I was waiting for.
Leeanne who I now love to death (THANK YOU SO MUCH AGAIN!) was walking around and gave me a ticket to meet AFI after asking me some questions about them. I was going crazy. Everything was working out the way I had wanted it too. I went to my seat and Every Move a Picture came on. I didn't know much of the songs, and it was pretty light outside so I was kinda eh to them. Echo and The Bunnymen...were a bit boring, and all I wanted was for 7:45 to come around so I could meet AFI. Someone payed 1,050 to meet them for that last ticket!!!
Right after they stopped playing, I ran out of my seat to the meetup location. There were about 14 more people there. So them Surfer Spud ended up taking us down these stairs all the way backstage where the bands were playing basketball with eachother. We stood and waited.
Waited....and......WAITED! I saw Smith and touched his man boob. It was great. He was laughing. haha.
So then I see Adam's head! Everyone starts to scream. I controlled myself pretty well. Then came Hunti and Jade and Davey. They started off from the other side, coming to us last. This was good. We got to have them for longer.
Jade was first. He signed on Adam's picture!!! Silly Jade. I also ended up asking him to sing the cd. I told him to make more movies with Smithy going nut in the airport and he told me he will look for me on his blog. Then we hugged and laughed at something, and he went on to the next person.
Jade, blurry and far away.
YES MY EYES HURT FROM THESE PIKS TOO!
Then came Davey. He also signed my CD and the pic of them in the book for Jake, after I told him about how he got two black eyes at their show @ Slims. BEST PART: I asked if I could kiss him on the cheek and he leaned over, moved his hair and BAM! He said thanks and we hugged. What else is there to say!?!! I told Spud to take a pic, but the boy doesn't know how to use a camera! (love ya Spud!)
Hunter was next. I remembered to do my "Hunter Hunter please don't shoot me" and told him who I was. He remembered!!! He signed my cd and Jake's book and we talked about how he got the black eyes. He made hand motions and everything. A hug followed. Hunter Rocks.
Then came the man in my CD. Adam Carson! He told me I was "one lucky girl" for getting him. He also signed Jake's thing and we also talked about his black eyes. Then we hugged and I told him I love him. He smiled and thanked me.
As I was leaving, I stopped by Smith again and told him I love the movies of him. He laughed and I told him he's awesome as well. We hugged and I told him I loved him and he should never change from the wild Smithy he is.
Adam and Jade's sig
(Clockwise) Jade (again) Hunter and Davey
The whole thing.
Got back to my seat. I missed HIM due to AFI. It was worth it!
Franz Ferdinand hit the stage. Awesome set. Awesome songs. They blew everyone away. Everyone was dancing and singing. The Strokes followed. They were also very good and I'm glad I got to see them.
FRANZ:
DJ Mike Relm was spinning between sets. He played hella good shit. The videos on the screen were hella funny.
After about 20 minutes, AFI came on!
I moved from where I was to a lower area and rocked out there for about 10 minutes. I didn't even realize I was standing behind Miles and his hot bro from Ceremony until I saw him turn around. Then I spotted Zack and Corey stood with them. We ended up climbing chairs and got like 4 rows from AFI. It was such an amazing show. But I felt like a bunch of people didn't know the words to Ever And a Day and TotalImmortal. I sang along to everything and coud not stop moving. Amazing
I DID NOT TAKE THESE!!!
I have to find more Adam!!! He was behind, so it was hard to take piks of him.

They sounded amazing. I could still hear the screams at the end of Death Of Seasons after they finished playing.
And then they got off and the damn security made us leave! FUCKERS!!!!
Anyways, the show was fucking amazing.
Sorry for the lack of piks. I can't take pics during concerts. It takes away from my experience.
